SILDA’S TOMB

The choir's song of peace may echo through the haunted streets,

But Silda’s body has been lied in her tomb.

The candles at the shrine may have blown out in the changing winds,

But Silda’s body now lies in the darkness of her tomb.

The flowers may wilt in the sun upon the shore of the holy lake,

But Silda’s body will wilt in her tomb.

The ropes of darkness may have been seized her limbs,

But Silda’s body lies in peace in her tomb.

The unknown may not wish to protect her young soul from Morbosa,

But Silda's body is traditionally clothed as she lies in her tomb.

The wicked may have robbed themselves of their own innocence,

But Silda’s body lies pure in her tomb.

The people may try to rise up and take a stand,

But Silda's body already lies in her tomb.

Her sacred temple may have washed up on shore,

But Silda’s body will forever more lie enthroned in her tomb.
