Chapter Five - Pretty White Teeth
Terry Haynes (no relation to David Haynes) could be a key piece in Donna’s story.
Upon first speaking with him, he appears to distance himself from Donna, claiming he barely knew her and feigning ignorance of her tragic demise. His selective recollection of their interactions coupled with his ability to positively identify Donna's rings raise intriguing questions. Could Terry's initial denial be a guise to conceal a deeper involvement or connection to the case?
Delving into the enigmatic relationship between Donna and Terry, Terry claims that he and Donna were strictly friends and acquaintances—but, what about this so-called love letter he wrote to Donna begging for her to take him back? What about his supposed role in securing her employment at the Elks Lodge? Was their relationship more than Terry lets on? Could his familiarity with Donna's personal belongings and his belief that Donnie Bull was rightfully convicted signify a deeper involvement?
